Empties: November

Things have been quiet around here for a few days because work gets crazy around the silly season so I have just about enough time for a quick empties post. I have noticed I have a lot of stuff that I rotate through, so I have heaps of half filled bottles of potions and lotions, but not many empties. Hoping to rectify this, but until then…here they are.

Goldwell dualsenses Ultra Volume Gel-Shampoo

This was a freebie I picked up in a giftbag somewhere. It’s a gel texture shampoo that offers a good cleanse. Not too sure about the volume…hair didn’t really have that wow factor. Would I repurchase? No.

Nak Hydracare Moisturising Foam

Love love love this. Similar to revitafoam, almost a dupe for a bigger can and a much nicer price. My hair just soaks it up and feels lovely and silky afterward. Very nourishing. Would I repurchase? Definitely.

PPS Hairwear Matt Mudd

Creamy waxy texture that is more forgiving than wax, but didn’t do much for styling my rebellious hair. Would I repurchase? No.

Dermalogica Body Hydrating Cream

Great lotion that rubs right in without being sticky. My skin just ate it up. Strong aromatherapy and herbal scent which can be overpowering. Would I repurchase? Possibly.

Kerastase Oléo-Relax Masque

Amazing! Deeply nourishing for my hair and noticed less frizz than normal. Only negative is the extreme prices of Kerastase here in Australia. Would I repurchase? Probably.

Kerastase Nectar Thermique

Another amazing product that helps keep my hair soft and silk-like after heat styling. My hair looks and feels great after I have used this. Keeps my hair looking and feeling healthy. Would I repurchase? Yes.

Super Sweet Clean

My HG Cleanser…I can not rave on enough about Get Super products by Dr Nicholas Perricone. I discovered these at Kit Cosmetics and have not looked back since. I love the smell of Sweet Clear and it works well to remove makeup, cleanse and nourish my skin. The scent is amazing and the pump bottle is genius and long lasting. Would I repurchase? Already onto my next bottle.

Super O Mega Moisture

My HG Moisturizer….Again, another fantastic Get Super product by Dr Nicholas Perricone. The only moisturiser that leaves my skin feeling hystrated without feeling plumpy and puffy. Would I repurchase? Already onto my next bottle.

Lancome Hydra Zen NeuroCalm Day Cream

This was my HG moisturizer before I discovered Get Super products. It is soft and rich and definitely provides moisture. My skin was healthy and hydrated using it in conjuction with the night cream, but it leaves my skin feeling plump and slightly greasy. Would I repurchase? Not since finding something better.

October Empties

My very first empties post for you! It has been a busy month and there are a few gems here, but I have a feeling next month there is going to be an even bigger pile!

Dermalogica Conditioning Body Wash

I’ve had these Dermalogical body treats for a while now. They were park of a travel size pack that I picked up when I had a facial in town. The conditioning wash is nice, lathers well and has a lovely aromatherapy smell…quite natural and herbal. For such a small travel size it lasted quite a while. Would I repurchase? Maybe.

Dermalogica Exfoliating Body Scrub

This was a little too scratchy for me. It did the job but left my skin feeling slightly worse for wear. Would I repurchase? Doubtful.

Dermalogica Body Hydrating Cream

Again, this has a strong herbal scent so it was good for weekend wear but clashed terribly with my my perfume. It soaked into the skin well and was nice and soft, with a silky texture. Would I repurchase? Maybe.

Natio Cinnamon and Tangerine Body Wash

This has been in my shower for months. It is a HUGE bottle and only a small amout is needed for maximum lather. It has a nice spicy scent and leaves my skin feeling yummy. Would I repurchase? Definitely.

Juice Kool Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner

I can’t remember where I picked these up from but I think it was a giftbag freebie. They lather nicely and help keep my blonde hair looking lush without being brassy. Would I repurchase? Definitely.

Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment

I really wanted this to be fabulous. It came with so much hype, but I’m glad I purchased a small bottle because it didn’t really do much and left my hair kind of meh. Would I repurchase? No Way.

KMS California Moist Repair Overnight Mask

These were going out cheap at Hairhouse Warehouse because of the old packaging. Left in my hair overnight and voila… Nice silky locks the next morning. Love that there were four individual treatment tubes too. Would I repurchase? Definitely.
