Continuing the summer series of my favorite natural company Burts Bees, I must present to you one of my favourite lip products Burts Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil. I have so many of the range of lip glosses stashed away. One in my handbag, a Beeswax Lip Balm Tube by my bed and a Honey Lip Balm in my glove-box and I am keen to try the Rejuvenating Lip Balm with Açaí Berry because as you can tell, I am rarely without balm and I am in love with all things Açaí.

What I Like…

This is 100% natural…which is fantastic since it sits on my lips all day. It keeps my lips hydrated and moist whilst providing a tiny hit of colour and the subtle pomegranate scent is just delightful. The tube is easy to use, no mess, no fuss and it is great value for money.

What I Dislike…

Absolutely nothing…I love it!

Burts Bees Week: Thoroughly Therapeutic Honey & Grapeseed Oil Hand Creme

In case you haven’t already noticed, I’m a big fan of natural products and the range from Burt’s Bees. Another Burt’s Bees product in my collection is Burts Bees Thoroughly Therapeutic Honey & Grapeseed Oil Hand Creme.  I use this all day every day to maintain amazingly soft hands. It is awesome!

What I Like…

Like all Burt’s Bees products nature comes first. This is 99% natural…it is rich, but lightly scented enough to wear multiple times a day. It rubs in smooth and quickly and once again, the payoff is most definitely worth it. I am also a big fan of the tube which makes using it a dream.

What I Dislike…

It leaved my skin with an odd silicone coating feel to my hands which I am not quite sure I like. It’s not unpleasant, just strange. that and I think Burt’s Bees really need to work on improving their packaging as to me it is looking a little dated, but hey, that’s just my opinion.

This is 100% natural…it is thick, and heavily scented which I don’t mind, because I adore the smell. It absorbs well again, the payoff is most definitely worth it. I also like the pretty metal tin, functional and cute.

What I Dislike…

Nothing, seriously….I love it.

I am so excited to tell you about another favourite Burt’s Bees product in my collection Burts Bees Beeswax & Banana Hand Creme. I use this every night before bed and wake up with amazingly soft hands.

What I Like…

This is 100% natural…No nasties, just pure natural, nourishing ingredients that keep my hands looking lovely. Once again in true Burts Bees style is is incredibly thick and rich with a strong banana scent that is gorgeous. It is so rich that it takes a little longer to massage in than most hand cremes but trust me, the payoff is truly worth it.

What I Dislike…

The pot, because I hate the idea of bacteria being able to grow in there and the sticky factor. In fact, it is the sticky factor that prevents me from using it during the day at work. Works better as a nighttime treatment.

Burts Bees Week: Super Shiny Range

I am always on the lookout for great products to use on my rebellious curly hair and having been impressed with many of the Burts Bees range I decided to try a few of their shampoo and conditioner offerings. The Super Shiny Grapefruit & Sugar Beet Shampoo and Super Shiny Grapefruit & Sugar Beet Conditioner are the latest two offerings that have impressed me.

What I Like…

The scent is sweet and natural and unlike other natural offerings the shampoo lathers like a dream. My hair was cleansed to within an inch of its like and felt super clean. There is some lovely shine presents and the hair feels nurtured, light and breezy. I also love that the products are 98.8% natural. We put so much rubbish into our bodies and sometimes onto them that it is nice to know this is one product that pure and natural.

What I Dislike…

The bottles, they are awkward and I’d much rather a gorgeous pump pack, but that’s a personal preference. Also the packaging is kind of boring and could do with an update.

What I Like…

This is 99% natural…super rich and luxurious feeling on my skin. It absorbs quite quickly and doesn’t leave my skin feeling the slightest bit sticky. I adore the beautiful scent and its wonderful to drift of to sleep with. Also, my skin is super hydrated for days afterward which is just lovely.

What I Dislike…

I adore the smell, but it can be quite overpowering and does not mix well with perfume, which is why I use it in the afternoons and evenings. Also, personal preference, but I much prefer a pump pack so I don’t get lotion all over the tube when trying to apply it.

Review: Burts Bees Hand Salve

As a teaser to the summer series of my favorite natural company Burts Bees that will happen in three weeks, I present Burts Bees Hand Salve. This sits in my handbag for when I need to break out the big guns. Works a charm on dry hands, elbows and feet so a great multipurpose salve.
