Most of you who have been following my updates know I have had a love and hate relationship with Bellabox. So the January box being my third Bellabox has been the decider for me. When it arrived, I was a tad disappointed because I was missing two of the products listed on the info card so I whinged… vented on Twitter and I have to say, I am impressed with the customer service of the Bellabox team who asked me to email them. This is what my Bellabox looked like when it first arrived.

The girls at Bellabox were lovely and thorough and within half an hour the problem was solved. The missing items were in the post and on the way to me. So, today it was with a squeal of delight that I opened the package from Bellabox and here’s what was inside.
The missing La Perla scents, Sparoma product and the girls were even kind enough to send me a lip balm in a different scent, since I wasn’t such a fan of Lavender on my lips. So impressed with the service!
The Good
I am super excited about the fullsize Puretopia Nourish & Repair Firming & Soothing Hand Cream RRP $9.95 AUD (75ml) and the Pangea Organics- Lip Balm in Egyptian Fennel with Grapefruit and Sweet Orange RRP $17.95 AUD (7gm). I am so glad they replaced the original one I received which I will probably gift to my Mum. I wasn’t keen on trying the Pyrenees Lavender with Cardamom. I also love that these are bigger than your average lip balm and look like they will last forever in my handbag.
I am also happy about the Soleo Organics sunscreen sample RRP $24.95 AUD (80g) because I am on the hunt for a good natural sunscreen and this looks like it might fit the since it contains no chemical UV absorbers, No titanium dioxide and No Synthetic preservatives.
I can’t wait to test out the La Perla fragrances RRP $79 AUD (50ml) I have heard good things about them and am hoping they will come in handy for date night.
I am also very pleased with the Sparoma Organic Roll On Pulse Point Aroma in Lavender RRP $19.95 AUD (15ml) as while I am not a fan of it on my lips Lavender is a great way to relax and soothe my migraines and this will be a handbag staple for me, I just know it.
I’m not quite sure what to do with the Herbal Essentials Orange Towlette RRP $17.50 AUD (Pk20) but it smells pleasant enough and I am sure it will come in handy.
The Bad
I am not a huge fan of the sachets because they never give you enough product to adequately test out and see it they work with your individual skin. So while I like the idea of the First Aid Beauty- Ultra Repair Cream- $14.95 (70g)- i’m not a huge fan of the small sample size. I’m also not a huge tea drinker and not really sure the Qi Tea- Detox Green Tea and Ginkgo Green Tea- RRP $4.75 AUD (Pk25) are a great addition in my beauty box. I can’t help feeling they took the place of a skincare or makeup sample.
My Verdict!
So…I’m convinced to give Bellabox another go. I mean sure, they have copped some negative reviews, I even wrote one but lets think about this for a minute. We, the consumers pay $15 a month for this service and Bellabox hunt around for product samples for us, package them up beautifully and send them via courier.
The process alone is costly so I am going to stick with them as long as they continue to provide quality service, good products and value for money, which I think the January box provides.
